Best AI humanizer tools, compared by plan
Many "best AI humanizer" lists are published by the vendors they rank first, and few show how they scored anything. We did not run a detector benchmark, so we won't name one overall winner. This page compares what five tools publish about price and limits, so you can choose by how you'll use one.
Competitor details last checked November 5, 2026 on each vendor's own pages. Written by TextSpell, which makes one of the products here. We compared published plans and features, and did not run hands-on tests.
Quick answer
- Bundled with other writing tools: TextSpell and QuillBot both include a humanizer alongside tools such as a paraphraser and grammar checker.
- Lowest listed annual entry price: TextSpell Starter at $59 a year, then Undetectable AI at $60 a year for 10,000 words a month.
- Highest stated allowance: Phrasly's annual plan lists unlimited humanizations, capped at 5,000 words per process.
- Check the renewal: StealthGPT's $1 entry offer lasts 3 days, then renews at $299.99 a year.
- No tool here can promise your text will read well or pass a detector every time. TextSpell doesn't make that promise. Always read and edit the result yourself.

Phrasly

How to choose an AI humanizer
- Check that the meaning survives. A rewrite that sounds natural but changes your facts costs you more time than it saves.
- Read the renewal terms, not just the trial price.
- Compare limits the same way: words per month, words per request and any trial cap.
- Be wary of pass-rate claims with no published method. Few of the lists we read describe a repeatable test.
- Don't use a humanizer to hide AI use where it isn't allowed. Follow your school's or employer's policy, and add your own knowledge and edits.
Try it on your own draft
The free plan includes 500 words and needs no credit card.
Try the humanizerFrequently asked questions
What is the best AI humanizer?
There's no reliable overall winner that we can point to. We haven't run a benchmark, and many published rankings come from the vendors they place first. Use the plans above to narrow your options, then test your own text.
Will a humanizer get my text past AI detectors?
We can't promise that, and TextSpell doesn't guarantee it. Results vary by tool, text and detector. The more useful goal is clear writing that you've reviewed and can stand behind.
Is there a free AI humanizer?
TextSpell's free plan includes 500 words and QuillBot's free plan humanizes up to 125 words with limited usage, as of November 5, 2026. Undetectable AI's free trial is limited to 250 words.
What's the difference between a humanizer and a paraphraser?
A paraphraser rewords text while keeping its meaning. A humanizer also tries to change the patterns that make text sound machine-written, such as uniform sentence length.
